5.0.06 Send Depersonalized Database

5.0.02 Away Request and In/Out modules Improvements

  • Improvements made to Sign In/Out module:
    • The In/Out menu, when viewing the Approve screen, now has an Exit Approve Screen choice which switches to Location x Day for today.
    • Missed sign outs are automatically recorded for the end of that day.
    • The Approve screen has improved support for Selected>Locations.
    • The Approve screen is faster and uses a fixed row height regardless of whether one location is selected or duties were shown.
  • Edit>Away Requests>[Process] button now better supports away requests for Service Point locations and for single level databases. An occasional issue with part day vacations shortening any duty location shift has been corrected.
  • Web Update for Schedulers module now includes:
    • Tick option to have a change notice email automatically open (just like the desktop client does).
    • An Available Employee button in the Change Employee screen.
    • Some small look/feel changes.

    • Web Update for Schedulers allows Schedulers to Add, Delete and Change Employee/Location of a shift.
    • Web Update for Employees allows designated employees to update their own shifts in designated locations within a specified date range. For instance some employees could be given permission to schedule their own Meeting shifts and part-timers Unavailable to work periods.

  • Who’s working: Month by Location report now provides option to intermix locations in a single calendar. Good for smaller libraries showing who's working by date.
  • Tools>Report>[PDF] button now uses the report title as the filename (and default for any Save As).

4.8.35 Additional Fields in Database View: Shifts

  • Report Database View: Shifts now includes additional Employee fields of Type, Home Location and Employee# to help those doing analysis in a spreadsheet or providing backup for payroll. Also the Type of Location field now shows more detail and the several ID fields now use the more compact abbreviation form.
  • New Web View 3.8.11 only enables special rights in My Schedule3W mode if the Scheduler has a personal password.

4.8.30 Location by Day: Auto Department Employee Filter

  • Location by Day right-click Display>Sort by>Working * formats, when an employee select is active, now only shows employees, with a home location not in the location filter, if they are working in one of selected Working (assignable to Service Points locations (i.e. substitutes only show if working that day in your department).
  • New Web View 3.8.3 features:
    • Web View's iCal Help page has been updated to better highlight the number of days to be auto sync'd and the URL to copy.
    • The Login page now ignores any leading/trailing blanks.

4.8.29 Staff Levels Blue/Red Bar

  • The Staffing Level bar (at the bottom of Location by Week/Day screens when only one location is selected) now reflects the difference between actual and desired when first opened and after Select>Location (in addition to after Select>Multiple Locations).
  • Edit>Location> right-click Advanced>Delete Shifts for a Working assignable to service points location now correctly deletes associated Service Point shifts.

4.8.27 New One Click PDF button

  • New [PDF] button in Tools>Reports and Edit>Staff>Analysis generates a PDF with one click and saves even more steps for sites using a web based e-mail package. It also simplifies keeping a report open while making updates.
  • Edit>Away>[Process] now also automatically enters the requested location (e.g. Vacation) in place of Service Point shifts of staff with Scheduling Approach of Assign Directly.
  • Web View now automatically resizes Table displays when a mobile device is changed between portrait and landscape mode.
