4.6.25 Bar Graph Scrolling Region Control

  • Bar Graph Scrolling Region is now controlled by Tool>Options>Staffed Hours Tab settings (rather than always being 24 hours).
  • Database View: Employee by Location Hours report now automatically suppresses the On-Desk column if no on-desk shifts are included (e.g. when reporting hours for payroll and benefits).

4.6.24 New Partial Day Away Requests

  • Away Requests now support partial days in both desktop and Web.
  • Split now supports deleting and optionally replacing the time before the split point. Also, when deleting a segment of a working shift, Split now supports the option to shorten, rather than just delete, partially overlapping Service Point shifts.
  • Employee# may now be suffixed to employee name in Database View Hours & Locations and Where working by # of days reports.
  • New Web View 3.2.1 updates:
    • When shifts are filtered because they fall outside of the min/max dates of a location, the user is now notified.
    • The ical button is no longer displayed for Output Only displays.

4.6.22 Split's New Delete & Replace; Web 3.2

  • Split Shift now allows a following segment to be Deleted and optionally Replaced (simplifies recording part day vacations).
  • Locations may now be removed from the Web by assigning them a Date Range with future days set to None.
  • New Web View 3.2.0 additions:
    • [Save Defaults] now saves the current Employee and Location select (so [Reset] restores them).
    • Now (i.e. who's working now) option now automatically drops the out of office shifts (e.g. vacation, sick, off and unavailable).
    • Logged in Schedulers now see all dates for all locations. Schedulers have a new Run as a default user in Options so that the scheduler may see the same view as a user without Scheduler rights.
    • Away/Vacation Request Web entry may now be activated for just a specific Employee Group in Web Services>[Options].
  • Help instructions for setting up meetings have been simplified.

4.6.21 Three Level Scheduling with Duty Locations

  • A new location type of Duty provides three level scheduling. Now employees may be scheduled into Supervisor in Charge for part of day during the same time they are scheduled into service desk(s). All of Schedule3W’s service point shift features also apply to Duty shifts. For example:

    • A person can only be scheduled into a Duty location if working.
    • A Change Employee on the working shift will also change any Duty shifts.
    • You can setup multiple Duty locations (e.g. Supervisor, Circ Desk Backup, etc.).
    • Schedules and displays show Duty location shifts just like Service Point ones.

    Available once Minimum Program Level set to at least 4.6.21 via Tools>Activate.

4.6.16 Reduced Working Shift offers to Delete Service Points

  • When a working shift is shortened enough that an employee would no longer be in working for one or more service points, you are now asked whether the Service Point shifts should be automatically deleted.
  • The Split Shift option is now supported in Employee/Location Grids with automatic refreshes of Shift List and Grid.

  • The Tools>Options>Diagnostic Tab now includes an option to have record IDs show in the Shift information screen and its Logging option now includes additional detail.

4.6.01 Database Access Method Upgraded

  • Employee/Location Scheduling Grids now have an improved wrapping algorithm when viewing more than two weeks on the screen plus their Shift List Display now has a wider Notes column.

4.5.31 New Skills Report & Skills Flagging on Web

  • New Database view: Skills/Employee report lists the employees designated with each skill (e.g. Spanish) and the reverse.
  • New Web View Option allows the names of employees with a specific skill to be flagged with a symbol.
  • Web View's Demo mode restriction of just today has been replaced with only showing the real names of 10 employees to allow full functionality to be evaluated.
  • Database view reports now allow you to select from one of three name formats.
  • The right to use Tools>Holiday Definition may now be given to specific schedulers in Edit>Staff>Scheduler Tab.
  • Integrated Timers have been expanded and improved in Tools>Options>Diagnostics Tab and Tools>Maintenance>Test Tab>[Disk].
  • Database View: Employee Hours Proof no longer generates an error when the date range is a multiple of 7 + 1 day.

4.5.30 Option to Hide 'Out' Staff

  • Location x Day screen's right-click Display Options now includes Hide scheduled Out Staff so you can hide people whose schedule you are unlikely to change.
  • Historical employees now only show on past days in the Location x Day screen and Employee Scheduling Grid if they have shifts.
  • Who's/Where working Time Period reports now use an improved algorithm to wrap start and/or end time to the next line in a cell and better handle shifts that end midnight or later.

4.5.29 Only Services Points Over Selected Working

  • New Advanced Shift Select of AND Service Points must be over a selected Working allows reporting on shared locations(e.g. meeting) for specific branches.
  • For entering breaks in Fast Entry, Edit>Location's Default duration menu now includes 15 min.

4.5.28 Track Skills Coverage

  • New Skills feature that allows site defined skills (e.g. CPR certified, Speaks Spanish) to be assigned to employees. Skills may be used to filter employees and to generate coverage reports. See details via Help>Index on Skills.
  • New features in Select>Multiple Employee screen activated through a new [Options] button:
    • See count of active employees per value in Pick screens (e.g. # of employees of each Type).
    • Have multiple Pick screens filter down, rather than reset, the currently selected list of employees (e.g. to select Adult Department Pages).
    • Also show employee abbreviation.
