- If Schedule3W was installed pointing at an old database (instead of the production) there is a new message simplifying invoking Browse (rather than displaying the registration screen).
- The option to restrict a scheduler to scheduling within a specific Date Range now automatically applies a maximum Until to ongoing modifications. Great for restricting someone to just entering today’s last minute changes.
- Edit>Date Range allows 6 days in future to be specified as the maximum (once 4.8.08 activated as version minimum).
- New Database View: Employee Information report has been added for exporting phone/e-mail for a designated group of employees.
- Tools>Maintenance>Show tab has a new [Users] button that shows the last login date/time and system for each user.
- Tools>Reports screen has been tweaked to handle font size set to 125%.
- Recurring Screen, when its Until calendar date is less than a second occurrence, now offers to create the shift as This Day Only.
- Tools>Options>Settings tab now supports a Login Screen Label field. Main use is for sites with multiple databases to show the database name on the login screen.
- Edit>Staff>[Analysis] button>[E-Mail] button has been changed to bring up a tips screen on using the report’s export option. This was done because automatically sent email no longer works for many people (e.g. those using web mail) and, for those that it does, there are two inconvenient Deny/Allow message screens. Contact us if you miss the old approach.
- Changes made in Edit>Staff>Scheduler Tab for another scheduler, while that Scheduler is logged in, are now saved and will apply to the next login.
- Edit>Away>[Process] for Part Day requests now warns if the employee isn’t working for that full time.
- To prepare for a future feature, Tools>Holidays now has an Edit/View submenu and Edit checks no one else is using Schedule3W.
- Edit>Away>Part Day requests for a Saturday/Sunday now use the requested location (rather than unavailable).
