- Edit>Away has been improved as follows:
- The Days Scheduled Working mode has been changed to Hours Scheduled Working to handle people who work non-standard durations.
- The email generated by the [EMail] button now includes the current status and its format has been improved for part day requests.

- The Staffing Button of Location by Day/Week now supports showing only locations matching your choice of Working, Service Point (on desk) and/or Duty subtypes.
- The employee PIC Rank may now be used as a Sort By in the Location by Day screen and in the Where Working: Employee x * reports.
- Edit>Location now has a More Info button to provide a one click equivalent of right-click > Location Information (great way to see a count of past/future shifts).
- Edit>Away>[Options] screen can now be opened by schedulers on a display only basis.
- The For Upgrade Planning Screen now allows deletes of past Installs (saves invoking Tools > Maintenance > Show Tab > [Installs] as a later step).
- The Login screen now displays the database organization name as a help for IT supporting multiple databases.
- Location by Day screen is now immediately resorted when Display Options > Sort By > Name Format is changed.
- Several small issues in the Employee by Week screen with using Quick Screen Switch (QSS) buttons have been eliminated.
- Tools>Maintenance>Compact has been restored as per before 4.7.17.
- The Pick Location screen now automatically includes the name of the current employee in the screen header.
- The Recurring Screen now highlights to a greater extent when one is adding/editing a public holiday shift.
- The Service Points Over message from Delete or Shortening start/end now include details of the first service point and a tip re the [Future] button.
- Edit>Location now allows a new service point location to be created with an Only if working in location set (previously this could only be set after the service point was created).
- Where working: Employee by * days reports now sort employees using the selected name format.
- Database View: Employee x Location and Employee Hours Proof summary reports now automatically include any shifts for historical employees.
