- Web View 4.3.06 improvements:
- Tools>Defaults now shows both the current defaults for the user plus a New column showing the settings that would be revised by clicking [Save new].
- The automatic recovery of interrupted network connections to the database has been improved.
- Each night a zip of the database and staffing levels is saved to a new Backup folder and retained for 7 days.
- Shift Information now, like Web Update, supports changing the date of a shift (or working shift plus its service points) within the year. Previously this could only be done by drag/drop within the viewed 7 days.
- History now allows DB Admins to display change history for any scheduler. Schedulers still see by me.
- Tools>Shifts>Empty now immediately displays a table of empty shifts (i.e. periods not meeting specified Staffing Levels). A CSV may still be saved/opened.
- The right-click Assign Location menu option has been removed because its functionality is provided by [] Then clone for an SP shift when adding working shifts or by right-click Clone for existing working shifts.
- New Retry option when saving a CSV from Tools>Reports Format Tab>[Advanced]>”Just CSV” option and from the [Save]option of any Database View report. This handles leaving the prior copy open in a spreadsheet.
- Edit>Location now allows Locations to be marked as Historic so past shifts are retained but new shifts can’t be scheduled.
- New Include Historical Staff option in Tools>Reports>select [Multiple Employees]>[Options] so that shift reports of just specific Historical Status employees may be generated without changing the employee back to Active.
- Web View 4.3.05 improvements:
- Shift Information now shows for schedulers the shift creation date and by whom plus, if a change has been made, its when, by whom and prior employee/location.
- Forgot your password screen’s text has been improved.
- New control in Options to flag shifts that have been changed Today or since Yesterday with a ^. Please email any other duration that would be useful.
- Web View 4.3.04 improvements:
- Have the latest library or a department’s schedule always available on a computer monitor, tablet or even a browser enabled TV. The new stale=## parameter automatically greys out the schedule after the specified # of minutes. People just press [Enter] or click/tap the new [Refresh] button and the display immediately refreshes.
- New Revise link at the top of all displays. Click to scroll down to the format menus.
- Edit>Staff now automatically tracks the who and when of the last change to each employee record. These fields display in the rightmost columns of the table. Likewise Edit>Resources does this for each resource.
- Making a location’s shifts viewable for a new period is now even easier because updating the maximum view date for a location’s shifts is now more accessible:
- Users with Scheduler (No Edit>Staff) rights may now use Edit>Date Ranges.
- Web Update now supports Schedulers revising the maximum date via a new [Update] button in the Tools>Locations display.
- Tools>Web Services>[Options] now has a tick option for suppressing Guest Access (i.e. to force use of personal passwords).
- Web View: Forgot your Password changes:
- Its instructions and button label have been clarified.
- The email with the change password link may now be configured to use your O365/Exchange server (rather than the
default SendGrid service).
- Tools>Reports now supports concept date periods of a day 3 days through 6 days hence plus 2 months and
3 months hence. These reduce the need for entering Custom Date Ranges.
- Web View’s [Help] now includes a tips section on using mobile devices including how to setup one click access to Schedule3W.
